This Eastern Bluebird nest was built in a Gilwood box. The Bluebirds abandoned and nested elsewhere, and a Black-capped Chickadee took it over. They only addeda bit of moss, some fur. A few feathers also showed up (possibly added by Tree Swallows.)
...over our heads will float the Blue Bird singing of beautiful and impossible things, of things that are lovely and that never happen, of things that are not and that should be. - Oscar Wilde, The Decoy of Lying, Intentions, 1905
