These Western Bluebird (WEBLs) nestling are close to fledging, but appeared unfazed by monitoring. Normally it is wise NOT to open a box after the nestlings are around 12-13 days old, to prevent premature fledging.

You cannot begin to preserve any species of animal unless you preserve the habitat in which it dwells.
