In Graham TX, they built 226 nestboxes in a single day. The parents had so much fun that they all got together, copied the nestbox design, and built another 200 for the second grade children in the spring of 2008.

Keith Kridler and his son Sean of TX work with many groups to build homes for bluebirds. in 2007, they were involved in constructing over 1,200 wooden nestboxes. The boxes designed by Keith are roomy, easy to build, and ideal for warmer climates, and for nestbox cameras.

You cannot begin to preserve any species of animal unless you preserve the habitat in which it dwells. Disturb or destroy that habitat and you will exterminate the species as surely as if you had shot it. So conservation means that you have to preserve forest and grassland, river and lake, even the sea itself. This is vital not only for the preservation of animal life generally, but for the future existence of man himself—a point that seems to escape many people.
