4/30: pair of Tree Swallows making a racket, apparently claiming box (swallows nested in this box last year)

5/5:  One titmouse? egg on box floor, no nest.

5/14: appeared to be claimed by Tree Swallows, but no nest.

5/22.  Nada.  Annoying HOSPs around.

5/28.  Male HOSP will NOT shut up.  A few pieces of grass in box.

6/14:  Installed sparrow spooker.  Took female 5 minutes to go into box.

6/26: Four babies, look 2-3 days old.  Shallow nest, reconfigured it.

7/1: removed blow flies.

7/6: replaced nest that was shallow, lots of blow flies.  At least 1 male.

7/11: Almost ready to fledge!

7/13: Fledging occurred either last night or this morning.  Babies in trees near box.  Cleaned out nest and removed spooker.

7/28: Fledglings coming to feeder, still begging (one male eating on his own, then begging when parent was present.

5/11:  half finished all grass nest.

All houses built to NABS specs with 1.5" round hole except #7. 

All but #1, 2, and 3 built by ECFLA. 

Mounted with hole 5' off ground, on steel pole with predator guard (4" diameter PVC baffle).  Fishing line to repel HOSP.

All boxes are located on edge/within Christmas tree farm, except for #2, 3 and 4 which are on lawn.
