Boxes All boxes except 12 and 14 have black duct tape pseudo-hole on roof.
Boxes 2-10 have monofilament.
As of 3/10, all boxes except PETE and GILB have metal hole guards installed.

?: saw blues checking out box 9
3/1: saw first blue at mealworm feeder, pair checking out box 4.
3/14: saw bluebirds checking out box 7.
3/15: saw first pair of HOSP near box 2.
3/24: pair of bluebirds checking out box 1 and 7.
3/27: downy still roosting in box 4. Added wood shavings. Next day in nest cup shape.
3/31: TRES spotted in Western MA
4/04: 3-4 blues seen fighting over box 1. One pair (redneck male) has begun nesting.
4/8-9: nestbuilding continues. Male HOSP momentarily trapped female in box. TRES seen on 4/8, looking at box by stream and #1.
4/10: No EABL activity in #1. TRES reluctantly entered #1. Put up Bluebird Love paired box.
4/11: EABL pair seen by #1.
4/12: first EABL egg.
4/13: 10-14 swallows swarming Box #1 and 7. Male HOSP entered box #1. Removed black spot from #1, put it on 1-b. Taught blues to eat mealies by placing on roof, then pink bowl. Next day eating out of feeder.
4/16: Put up 2 boxes (Finch, NABS) at LF. Replaced John's PETE box with Carrier Slant box and moved PETE by nesting EABL #1.
4/18: lots of TRES activity, checking Rogers, back lawn, by stream, by treehouse.
4/30: First hummingbird and barn swallow.
6/8: Female by house not seen in about 2 weeks. Only 3 babies seen today. TRES divebombing male defending empty box.
